LEGO Updates this Week
Hey everyone. I apologize that I missed last week’s update, but life got hectic and I couldn’t get a newsletter out last Friday. Anyway, let’s dive right into this week’s edition!

So there’s now info that a full Animal Crossing line of sets will be released in March 2024. I personally think this is a great idea, as the game is extremely popular right now, and Lego sets based on the video game have been requested for years. And the fact that we’re getting molded heads with the figures means we can get some SUPER detailed figures in these sets.

We also got the reveal of the long-awaited Ideas Insect Collection, which was originally submitted by hachiroku24, a LEGO MOC Designer and YouTuber. There have been some slight changes made, such as downsizing the Bee and Ladybug insects, and adding stands to the bugs, which undoubtedly made the price higher than it should have been without them. But it is still quite the display piece(s) for $80 with 1111 pieces.

There was also some new info that came out regarding a new Sonic Brickheadz 2-pack, and Knuckles has actually been confirmed to be one of the characters in it. There’s much speculation on what the second one will be, but nothing is confirmed yet.
And that’s it for this week! Be sure to tell me what you think, and don’t forget to tune in next week for another Week in LEGO Recap!
